Musical performances, curated by C3 Presents, will feature three of Austin’s most vibrant female artists – Jackie Venson, Tameca Jones, and Mélat. From their soulful R&B riffs to slaying the electric guitar, these women are community treasures who represent the values of I Live Here I Give Here and inspire and embody the next generation of powerful female musicians who call Austin home. 

Headliner Jackie Venson is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter known far and wide for her complexly beautiful music and blazing guitar skills. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Jackie has traveled the world playing to massive crowds both as a headliner and as support for major acts such as Gary Clark Jr, Melissa Etheridge, Aloe Blacc, Citizen Cope to name a few. With Venson’s most recent release, “Love Transcends,” Venson firmly established herself as a sonic force to be reckoned with out of Austin, Texas. Most recently, you might have seen her on the CMT Awards Show performing with Alanis Morissette. 

Austin’s Empress of Soul, Tameca Jones, is a beloved soul singer praised for her intense, passionate vocal delivery and fierce performances. She's opened for Gary Clark Jr, Leon Bridges, Willie Nelson and Lukas Nelson, St. Paul and the Broken Bones,Shakey Graves, BB King, and countless other major artists.

Mélat tells stories of love in all its facets - whether romantic or platonic, beginning or ending - because love is, in her eyes, the only truth. Born and bred in the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin, Texas, this first-generation Ethiopian-American, is the eclectic soul of modern RnB.
